Sarasota Holiday Parade

Sarasota's Premier Holiday Kick-off Party—Sarasota Holiday Celebrations, a nonprofit that hosts a beloved annual parade down Main Street, needed a simple website to function as a landing page for event info and registration. The site works with their established Facebook page and is integrated on the back side with G-Suite and MailChimp. 2019 will be the first year that the organization offers online registration for parade contestants and volunteers. Online registration was created in G-Suite so that SHC staff and volunteers can easily access and respond to registrants.

Why They Do It

Honoring veterans by sharing their stories—Vietnam veteran Joe Reynolds wanted a site to share stories about his fellow veterans in order to honor them and help the civilian population understand why members of the armed forces serve. This four-page site with a contact form and subscriber sign-up form were created using GoDaddy's easy-to-use, drag-and-drop builder. Joe also requested help in taming his technology and establishing a workflow so he could keep fresh content posted and stay in touch with his subscribers.
